• Any communications we send you (email, WhatsApp, Telegram)

This policy is written in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable French data protection law.

3. Data We Collect and Why

3.1 Account Data
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and encrypted password.

3.2 Billing Data
Payment information is processed exclusively by Stripe. Eventail Services does not store, access, or process your payment card details. We receive from Stripe only a payment confirmation and a customer identifier.

3.3 Connected Social Account Data
If you connect your social media accounts, we collect profile information, post history, and analytics data (reach, engagement, audience insights). This data is used solely to power Socialbird's content generation, strategy, and watchlist features. It is stored in our database and is not sold, shared, or used for any purpose beyond operating the service for your account.

3.4 AI-Generated Content
Content generated by Socialbird AI on your behalf is stored in our database. This content belongs to you. It is used to improve your AI's voice calibration over time as you approve or edit posts.

3.5 Usage and Behavioral Data
We collect data on how you use the application, including feature usage, credit consumption, and session activity. This is used to operate the service, detect issues, and improve the product.

3.6 Notification Preferences
If you connect WhatsApp or Telegram to receive notifications, we collect your phone number or Telegram ID. This is used exclusively to send you Socialbird notifications and never used for marketing without your explicit consent.

4. AI and Model Training

Socialbird AI is powered by Anthropic's Claude via the commercial API. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, data processed through the API is not used to train Anthropic's AI models. Your content, prompts, and generated outputs are not used for any AI model training — by Eventail Services or by Anthropic.

We share data with the following third-party services strictly to operate Socialbird:

6. International Data Transfers

Some of our third-party providers — including Anthropic and Supabase — are based in the United States. When your data is transferred outside the European Union, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including standard contractual clauses (SCCs) as required under GDPR Article 46. By using Socialbird AI, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries outside the EU.

7. Cookies

Our landing page uses Google Analytics and Framer Analytics, which may set cookies to measure traffic and usage. The Socialbird application uses cookies strictly necessary for the app to function (authentication, session management).

You will be asked for your consent to non-essential cookies when you first visit our landing page. You can withdraw consent at any time via our cookie settings.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active.

If you delete your account:

• All application data (content, social account data, usage history) is deleted within 30 days

• Your email address may be retained for up to 3 years for legal and billing compliance purposes

• Data held by third-party services (Stripe, Resend) is subject to their own retention policies

9. Your Rights Under GDPR

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you

• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data

• Erasure — request deletion of your personal data

• Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data

• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest

10. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted passwords, secure HTTPS connections, access controls, and regular security reviews with our infrastructure provider. No system is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

11. Children

Socialbird AI is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact legal@socialbird.ai and we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email and update the effective date at the top of this page.
